Doing a Small Favor and a Full Night’s Sleep
If working hard makes you happy, then so be it.
I don’t criticize you for spending most of your time working.
I understand your view about working more in order to earn more. I do understand what you mean about people being paid for the amount of productivity that they put out.
I agree with you about working building character and discipline.
There are many that prefer working part-time and I do think their choice should be respected.
Some people see a lot of value in spending 80 to 90-hour work weeks.
Other people want to prioritize their hobbies and family time.
As long as one doesn’t use their time to hurt people, I don’t think that we should obligate everyone to work long hours if they don’t want to.
Yes, I agree that everyone should have a sense of responsibility but one can still be responsible and work 20 hours a week and spend time engaging in other activities.
When one wants to take a break from working, let’s let that person be.
