“Don’t mind them.”

“Don’t mind them.”

“Don’t mind them.”

This short sentence is like my daily mantra.

For anyone who is repeatedly told that they are not enough, tell yourself that there are more than eight billion people in the world now.

Keep in mind that you may encounter a few people, or a long line of customers throughout the day, or a new colleague or two, or a random passerby daily and that whatever they may say to you (if they say anything at all) doesn’t represent you.

Any person that comes into our lives and has faith in us should hopefully remain a large part of our lives.

Anyone who disparages you when you have done no wrong should not receive any of your attention.

If you have not harmed anyone, then I think that it’s likely that you don’t ‘talk funny’, or ‘look stupid’, or ‘have no style’. It’s absolutely likely that you are not unable.

If you are thoughtful and you make an effort, chances are, you are likely fine the way you are.

If you are a Pokemon fan in your 50s or 60s or beyond,

or if you have a speech impediment,

or if you have an apple-shaped body,
