‘It’d Be Good to See You Soon’

I’d sincerely like to say that I have been treated in such a way in my entire life that I don’t think that anyone would call me back if I left a message.

I don’t expect anyone to reply to my emails when they say that they would.

I don’t perceive anyone genuinely wishing me well.

I don’t understand why anyone would waste doing a first-round interview with me when they already have enough candidates selected for second round interviews.

When people tell me, “It’d be good to see you soon,’ I can say that I haven’t taken that seriously since I was a child.

How often have you been told that someone would get back to you on something and never do? How about when meeting times have been made and the person doesn’t show up?

I understand that, at the end of the day, everyone needs to look out for themselves and some people are in so much trouble that they can’t help but make promises in order to make it look like things are alright with them when they’re not.

It makes sense for people to be into themselves given the state of the economy worldwide for many years.

I sometimes think, though, why people would say they’d do something and not bother saying that they can’t meet an obligation such as confirming that they are…
