We need to teach anti-racist history in schools. We need to do a better job teaching world history too.

We need to empathize with others out there more.

We need to learn to take self-criticism as a nation.

I condemn governments out there that don’t welcome criticism.

We learn from history to become better people.

I think that learning history is to help us progress as a people. I like to think that learning all of the ugly parts of history and the bad things that happened all around the world throughout the eras help us better relate to each other as one humanity.

I think, in a way, not learning a lot of the history that we really should learn (like slavery and redlining) keeps us apart and keeps us from helping each other.

Not a day goes by when I don’t read or listen to something about a time in history or what’s currently happening elsewhere.

Again, this is one way that I involve myself with others.

Have a wonderful day.
