“I don’t think I will have any children because I don’t see that life is worth living.”

Without hesitation, you responded, “Yes.”

Excessive consumption.

People selfishly see through their own eyes only.

Working double shifts while almost never spending any time with family just to pay for needs beyond flour, milk and water.

Seeing good times end so soon and experiencing bad times far too long.

Very narrow- and close-minded people exist in large numbers.

A lot more people are more suspicious than helpful than ever.

There are millions of people told to lift themselves up by the bootstraps, but some don’t have any straps, and many don’t have any boots at all.

This is the reality that I mostly see so it was refreshing for me to hear you say, “Yes, I agree that life, when we really think about it, isn’t worth living. Whether another child is brought into the world or not very likely doesn’t make a difference.”

I didn’t have a choice in being conceived and brought into the world so it wouldn’t be fair for one to tell me that I’m alive so why would I say such a thing?

I can say that life isn’t good enough. I don’t see that there is much good in this…
