My Brother and I As One Package

I feel like spending more time with my brother at the moment.

I have thought about how, growing up, we spent long days at school and had about 5 hours to spend together on the weekday evenings, and how we had less time together after school when we were middle and high school students. I recall having only a fifteen-minute dinner to have any conversation with him during my high school days.

When I was in university, I spoke to my brother on the phone for about an hour a week. He is a year younger than me so it can be said that we have really known each other our whole lives.

When I graduated with my Master’s and my brother graduated with his Bachelor’s in 2010, I decided to go abroad to work. Throughout my university years, I spent summers working full-time and I lived on campus at an out-of-state university during the year. I had little time to spend with my brother then. I spent time at home watching him play his PC or video games when I was free but we hardly went out to do activities together.

I think back to the time that my brother and I were at home and I have decided to start going out on walks with him and visiting stores and museums.

It’s not practical but I find it hard now to stop spending afternoons with my brother going on short drives, wandering around and taking photos of…
