On What the Turkish President Has Said About Women and On Politicians in General

Women who work are not ‘half-persons’.
Women who are childless aren’t deficient.
Why do political leaders almost always have the final say on everything? Political leaders are human like the rest of us. How have they become such that they are practically untouchable? Why is it cultural for many people to not question political leaders? To trust them almost 100%? I have to repeat: they are human.
People shouldn’t be misled to allow themselves to think that those in political positions know what’s best. They don’t know more than all of us.
Political leaders (and others with large platforms and influence) shouldn’t mislead themselves to think that they are all-powerful and all-knowing. They aren’t.
There should be room to doubt political leaders, not only room to revere them.
