Regardless of What Position Any of Us Hold
I may not have a detailed career plan but it doesn’t mean that I am not a feminist.
I have been ignored many times in my life for admitting that I didn’t know what career to pursue down the line.
It’s often assumed that I am nobody to talk to due to my employment status.
I’ve wondered what my possessions or what money I have in my bank account have anything to do with being acquainted with anyone.
I’ve been told by many peers about why I don’t care to empower myself.
I may not earn a high income and I understand that earning a salary that covers more than the basics is the best way to empower oneself but there are other ways to feel empowered.
I attempt to empower myself through reading. I try to be more informed.
Many empower themselves by learning to improvise with resources that they have on hand.
Empowering oneself can come from serving others and building a network.
I have never been one to go after career goals.
A feminist can take on different appearances.
I don’t think that women who have taken on C-level and other executive and senior roles are the epitome of a feminist.
