I have been inspired to answer the following 10 questions as presented by Normal Earthling’s “Ten Things About N.E.”, who was challenged by a Medium challenge of Brandon Ellrich’s:

What is your favorite drink?

Strong, black coffee. This can be instant coffee or brewed Dunkin’ Donuts or Starbucks coffee. Or, the coffee can be from a gas station.

What is your favorite color?

Pink. I am fine with all shades of pink but I’m more partial to pastel pink, light pink. I wouldn’t mind having a completely pink wardrobe.

When I was in middle school, I wanted to buy a sparkly, long-sleeved shirt at a store called ‘Tello’s’ at the local mall (which no longer exists) and I was told that I was ‘too old to like pink’ or that I was ‘going to outgrow the color’. My love for pink still remains fierce.

I stayed in a friend’s home on two separate occasions (she was in her late 50s) and she had a ‘pink room’; it had pink wallpaper, a pink carpet, pink stuffed animals, pink furniture and other miscellaneous pink things. She said that she had always wanted a ‘pink room’ where she could get in touch with her youthful side. I thought that her ‘pink room’ looked amazing.
