To Someone I Cared to Know

Are you used to people wanting to get to know you better?

Are you used to engaging in long conversations?

I feel that you have spent your whole life holding on to the impression that no one has noticed you.

Maybe I’m wrong.

Whenever something comes to mind (and it’s not offensive — it can range from asking permission to borrow someone’s book, or asking the cost of something, or mentioning snack foods that I enjoy, or reminiscing about meals), I bring it up.

When questions come up, I ask (again, if the question isn’t harmful, of course).

When I want to cheer people up, I may write a note, text, or say something.

My mind runs 24/7 which makes it hard to sleep at times. I just always have something to say to people I care about.

I write to you because I think of things to tell you and just let you know. There is no pressure to write back right away. The sole point is to feel rest assured that you do matter to someone out there. Writing to you is a way to let you know that.

If I deem a person friendly enough, I will do all of the above.

Please feel free to email me: debbie.chow1987@gmail.com

Have a wonderful day.
