To Trust Two People with Our Life Stories

Is it wrong to love two people at once, or even more?

Is it wrong to want to be married to two people?

Why should our love be limited to just a few people?

Certainly it’s okay to say that more people mean something to us.

Students, classmates, colleagues, managers, neighbors, friends of friends… all of them can mean something to us.

How about being romantically intimate with more than one person? How about caring deeply and desiring to trust two people with our life stories?

Some people will inspire us either from afar or near.

Even when inspired feelings fade, initial feelings aren’t to be dismissed.

There are some people that I feel strongly for and I don’t think that this is wrong.

We may come to love one and then one more, adding a few more to love next year and on and on. We may say goodbye to some but it’s not to say that our memories of those ones aren’t beautiful just the same.

We shouldn’t deny admiring more than one person.

Can we think that it’s better to open up and love more people with our entire hearts and souls? Can we think that it’s a good thing to have certain people take up some of the space in our minds even when we are supposed to be devoted to one?
