Upon Meeting Foreigners

Let’s be more sensitive and more genuinely helpful to those who are from another country.

When I meet a foreigner, and the person is kind, I never refuse helping or keeping the person company.

I don’t think it shows much compassion if I were to advise the person to seek out a community that represents their ethnic or religious background, or sexual orientation.

I don’t count referring the foreigner to an organization that assists people of their background as helping and welcoming the…
