You Show Your Anger In All that You Do
You keep wondering about what to do with the rest of your life.
Your children are in their thirties and not in the way that you want them to be.
You work in order to feed your appetite for shopping. Your appetite is huge and you don’t tend to drop when you shop.
You don’t like outdoor activities. You don’t like to read. You have no interest in watching TV. You sit in silence not knowing what to talk about for long periods of time. You don’t have any idea about how to use a computer or smartphone. You don’t like to exercise. You don’t want to learn anything new because you don’t see the point.
You focus instead on how you want your children to be.
You mutter about how many women your age are grandmothers by now and even mention that many women in their forties are already grandmothers. You talk about when you can start taking care of grandchildren when your children don’t feel like having children. Then you get angry about it and then you stay disappointed and then you become depressed.
You are likely never going to let go of this feeling.
I don’t have any advice for you. I don’t know what you can do to get better.
